Open Mic Night Videos from the Archives

Just consider this inspiration for open mic night. These clips are from last year. This year’s open mic night is 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2.

Crestwood Inner-city Ministry begins Thursday

Jill Singletary helps a student with her homework. The Crestwood after school program provides dinner, tutoring, and Bible teaching for dozens of elementary school students.

For years Morrison Heights has partnered with Pastor Johnny Rayford and his church, Crestwood New Life Baptist Church.  If you volunteer for the Crestwood after school program, you will help students with their homework, feed them dinner, and be a positive role model in their lives.

Thursdays from 2:45 to 5:30 p.m.
Meet at 2:45 p.m. between Nelson Hall and the cafeteria at MC.
Email or call Matt Meece for more information. (228) 860-9190.

Can’t participate on Thursdays? Email Jessica Gibbens to go to Crestwood on Wednesdays.
