Open Mic Night Results

Forty-two Buckets of Hope. Nine amazing acts. Five spontaneous dancers. Three serious rappers. Two wannabe rappers. One Britney Spears song. One stolen kiss (Duck was the victim). One amazing night.

The runner up was none other than Josh “Duck Belser” Long who sang “I Cross My Heart” by George Straight.  His prize was a gift bag from Cups.

First prize went to the Christian rap group, Elevated. Nicholas Fuqua, Frankie Ferguson, and Deonte Stokes blew everyone else out of the water with their original song, “Dusk to Dawn.”

They won $100 cash plus free Chick-Fil-A for the rest of the semester, but the trio elected to donate their cash prize back to the Buckets of Hope fund.  Watch these guys.  They’re the real deal.

Check out the poll results below:

Thanks to Cups for the second prize gift bag and free coffee for everyone present. Thanks to Chick-Fil-A for the first prize gift certificates plus free food for everyone who brought a Bucket of Hope. Thanks to Dairy Queen and Starbucks for donating door-prizes!
